Two Sites Down

Just got this news recently. Clicksia and Incentria are both officially shut down by the owner. Completely off, gone forever.

The owner cites health problem and poor sales on the sites. He didn’t decide to sell the site however, unlike so many scam PTCs, as he’s concerned about how the new owner, if any, will confiscate any delayed or held payments, so he chose to close it down for good. Many members though seem to be yelling about their pending payouts and such. Actually, I’m not too bothered. I’ve joined one of those two, even thought to join the  other one, but after realizing that the earning rate is super slow, I don’t play there much anymore.

Before You Scream ‘SCAM!’

It is payday. You have legitimately reached the threshold allowed for cashout on a PTC site. You clicked on the ‘Request Payment’ button that has recently become active while singing your favourite song. You wait, and open your payment processor, checking the highly demanded cash. No new activities. You refresh your account or your browser, several times. It is still the same however. Not even a cent arrived. “Hmmm, maybe there’s a delay. Oh, well.” You continue your interrupted song while surfing the webs while waiting for your cash, or maybe leaving the computer while getting some chips and cokes.  An hour passes. A day, then a week. Instead of singing a song again, you now begin mumbling f-words, opening a new topic on a forum, then write in big 20 points bold red letters : “XYZ IS A SCAM!!!” where ‘XYZ’ is the name of the PTC site you were asking for a payment a week ago.

No, don’t. If the money does not arrive at your account, take these steps.

News on Clixsense

Clixsense – the now turning 7 years old PTC – has added 2 new splash pages.

To find it, just hover over the Affiliates button link and select Splash Pages.

Some nice variations other than the usual white backdrop splash page to advertise. Hmm, just a little tought. The second one with the pic of a woman gives the impression that the laptop monitor is... ‘broken’, isn’t it?

Surfing Tips – Save Bandwidth

While surfing for ads, it will sure take some considerable amounts of your internet bandwidth, as you will open many websites in  a relatively short amount of time, and do it regularly from time to time. Most of the websites will contain pictures, graphics, and even videos (what else can a website do to amuse visitors so they can linger long enough except attractive multimedia contents?), that can easily chip away at your bandwidth. Some may even contain loootsa pictures and/or videos that seems to take forever to load completely, though luckily the ads timer will have usually completed first without needing the website to finish loading entirely.

There is one easy trick to help reduce your bandwidth usage : disabling images.

2 Dollars Advertising !

Before you get confused, we are not going to talk about scam site that give bloated promise to offer huge cash per single click. The number ‘$2’ refers to the cost to place an advertisement, not the cash you can get from clicking. So, in short, we are learning to become an advertiser this time, who sets ads to be clicked and viewed by the PTC members. And that $2 is somewhat cheap and very affordable.

Anti-Scam Tips : Click Rate

Now that you have known about scam site, it’s time to learn the tips to avoid getting scammed. In this first tip, you are suggested to pay attention to the amount of money that they’re willing to pay you for clicking an ad. This is called “click rate”. Don’t be simply provoked by high click rates.

Though it could means you can get huuuge money at cashout period – even in only short time, be reminded that it could as well affect the stability and sustainability of the PTC site.

Let’s take an example.

SCAM = Successfully Confiscated All (your) Money

“Join Now! Site in Prelaunch!”, “Most Stable Site!”, “World’s #1 PTC!”, “Honest & Trusted Admin!”, and all other hype promotional slogans.  You may have stumbled upon them when surfing the web. Well, there’s nothing wrong with it. Any bussinesses, including web-based ones, must carry out advertising and promo. They require it to attract visitors and customers. It’s useless to have good products but only little to no people in this world know about it, right?

But one that you’d want to avoid is the sites that will only waste – most if not all of – your valuable time, efforts and even money : scam sites.

What is a "PTC" ?

PTC stands for “Paid To Click”. As the name implies, you will get paid to do clicking tasks. What do you click? Mostly they are ads (advertising). Some sites may have other tasks for you to accomplish allowing more income to be obtained such as completing surveys, offers, etc. But that to be discussed later, if you’re still new to this kind of thing, the basic stuffs in PTC are as simple as these :

  • Register or join
  • Click on ads
  • Get paid !
